Terms of Service

The deal, in language a person can actually read before agreeing to it.

Effective October 7, 2026

The short version

  • $19 a month or $190 a year, after a 14-day free trial.
  • Cancel whenever you like. You keep access until the period you paid for runs out.
  • Use the prep on your station, on the air, as much as you want. Do not resell it or pass it to another station.
  • What you write in the app stays yours.
  • We source every fact twice — but you are the one on the air, so check anything that matters.

1. This agreement

These terms are between you and Martian Creative, LLC("we", "us"), and they cover your use of ShowPrepPro — the website, the daily editions, and every tool in the application. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a station or a group, you are confirming you have the authority to do that, and "you" then means the station.

2. What you get

A subscription gives you access to the daily edition and every feature in the product for as long as it is active: Break Builder, Reading Mode and On-Air Mode, search across the archive, pronunciation guides, airchecks and your streak, and up to 3 producers on your account. There is no tier that keeps a feature back.

We publish an edition every publishing day. We will tell you in advance if the publishing schedule changes.

3. Price, trial and renewal

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see your card number.

4. Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has them. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One subscription covers one station; if you run several, add them from inside your account rather than sharing one login between buildings.

A subscription is for the on-air staff of the station it covers. Passing your login to another station, or to a service that redistributes prep, is the one thing that will get an account closed without a refund.

5. What you may do with our content

While your subscription is active, you have a non-exclusive license to use the editorial content of ShowPrepPro for the ordinary business of your show. That means:

You may not:

The distinction is simple: the content is licensed for you to perform, not for you to publish as prep.

6. What you write stays yours

Your prep notes, your breaks, your edits — all yours. You keep every right in them. You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store your content, display it back to you, process it to produce the features you have asked for, and back it up. Nothing more. We do not publish it, sell it, show it to other subscribers, or train models on it.

Your public page is the one exception, and it is yours to switch on. If you turn on a public page, we show the public what you put on it (your name, photographs, words, résumé, and the airchecks and breaks you choose to publish) until you take it down or close your account. The page itself is free and does not need a subscription. You are responsible for what you publish there. An aircheck is your station's broadcast and can contain music and other people's material: publish talk, not songs, and only what you have the right to share. We may take down anything on a public page that we are asked to remove, or that breaks these terms.

You can export your content at any time, and if you delete your account we delete it.

7. Accuracy — read this one

Every factual item we publish is checked against two independent reputable sources, and both are shown to you with the date each one published. Anything we could only stand up with a single source is badged as single-sourced so you can decide for yourself. That is a real standard and we hold ourselves to it.

It is not a guarantee that every fact is correct. Sources are sometimes wrong, and stories move after we publish. You are the licensee on the air. What you say is your responsibility and your station's — including anything the FCC, your legal counsel or your general manager has an opinion about. If an item matters, click the sources. They are right there for exactly that reason.

We are not a wire service, a news agency or a legal, medical or financial adviser, and nothing we publish should be treated as any of those.

8. Availability

We work hard to have the edition sitting there before you are. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and at this price there is no formal uptime guarantee. We will schedule maintenance away from peak air hours wherever we possibly can, because we know exactly when you need this to work.

9. Fair use of the service

Do not:

10. Other people's services

The product links to outside sources and, if you choose, connects to Cartwright and to Stripe. What happens on someone else's service is governed by their terms, not ours. Cartwright is a separate product; ShowPrepProworks completely without it, and nothing here requires you to buy it.

If you choose Make an aircheck in Riano, the hours you picked open in Riano (riano.studio), a separate product from the same company, under Riano's terms.ShowPrepPro works completely without it.

11. Ending it

You can cancel or delete your account at any time, for any reason. We can suspend or close an account that is not paying, that is redistributing the content, or that is being used to attack the service — and except in the clearest abuse cases we will contact you first and give you a chance to fix it. If we close your account for something you did not do wrong, we refund the unused part of what you paid.

12. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow that, and where yours does not, this paragraph does not apply to you.

13. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

14. Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because of how you used the service — what you broadcast, what you uploaded, or a term of this agreement you broke — you agree to cover our reasonable costs in dealing with it. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and let you take part in the defense.

15. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will email account holders at least 30 days before it takes effect, and the effective date at the top will change. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms; if you do not, cancel and we will refund the unused part of your current period.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that cannot be settled by talking to each other first will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Solano County, California, and we both agree those courts have jurisdiction.

Before filing anything, please write to legal@showpreppro.com. Most problems are a misunderstanding and an email fixes them faster than a lawyer does.

17. The rest

If a provision of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still stands. Not enforcing something once does not mean we have given it up. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business. Together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, this is the whole agreement between us about ShowPrepPro.
